Welcome to the Orlando Trade Show Company Blog, where we offer insights as a local Orlando Trade Show Builder. Our tips and guides to exhibiting in Orlando are the results of many years of experience and many lessons learned in the “City Beautiful.” From accommodations to traffic to taxes and labor, we know the shows here in and out and we offer our resources to our readers and our exhibitors equally. Whether or not you choose us as your exhibit house, we are always willing to answer questions and be a lifeline during shows, because that is the type of business we are! Below are some of our showing basics for the “City Beautiful.”

Where are the Shows and Where Should we Stay?

Trade Shows in Orlando are generally in the Orange County Convention Center, however we service many corporate meetings and events in the many resort hotels all over Orlando. There are three areas that are located close to the Orange County Convention Center. Sand Lake Road, International Drive, and John Young Parkway. Each of these roads has a variety of accommodations from the Ritz Carlton Orlando to Marriot. Most of these hotels offer transport to the Orange County Convention Center as well.

Transportation

Orlando has one major arterial roadway, I4 and it has been under construction for 5 years and will likely be under construction for 5 more years. There are alternative toll roads, the 528 and 417, that traverse Orlando and 17-92 runs parallel to I4. We would not recommend a hotel that is too far from these areas for traffic reasons. Additionally, Orlando does not have public transportation that suits the Orange County Convention Center. We have a bright line that arrives close, but it is a much better decision to be closer to your event venue.

Orlando Exhibit Builders and Exhibit Houses

The trade show industry is a billion dollar industry and with the trends in sales techniques over the past hundred years starting with World Fairs and dating back to European markets, there is no better place to introduce products and services than a trade show floor. All exhibit houses, however, are not created equal, and there are several ways to produce exhibits. Many houses strictly offer designs and outsource fabrication and others strictly fabricate simple designs with both options costly, and custom. Other exhibit houses sell modular framework and do not provide labor to install or support during installation and dismantle at shows. We provide full turnkey service, design, support, and storage as part of one low price on modular, custom modular, and custom exhibits.

Best Type of Exhibits for the Orange County Convention Center

The Orange County Convention Center has over a million square feet and one afternoon amidst booths can leave you feeling drained and remembering very little. As an Orlando trade show builder, it is our job to make sure that your booth does not blend with the rest. At the same time, we know that budgets are not unlimited when it comes to a booth. Our trade show solutions offer customized modular exhibits built with lightweight frames and completely customized to your brand guidelines, and also with a variety of state of the art exhibit amenities to modernize your exhibit. Each exhibit is designed and fabricated in one location, our Orlando headquarters, and we provide all labor and concierge style service during your show.
